Project #3: Collaborative Tools

Goal: Demonstrate the use of collaborative tools. A collection of evidence: establishing and use of social networking, managing files and documents, and experience with “cloud computing” will be placed in the Digital Portfolio. This project will include a critique of an online tool for use in the classroom setting.

Platform: Use an online presentation tool-  Google presentation, Haiku Deck, Prezi, Video, Screencast…must be uploaded to online location (Dropbox, Vimeo, TeacherTube, etc).

You will randomly be given a tool to research. Click the link to your "assigned" collaborative tool.

  • Find a video about the tool or create your own on how to use this tool.

  • In an online Presentation, what do you see as pros and cons for the tool, cost, Mobile Device compatibility, and have an idea of how it could be used in the classroom. Can more than one student contribute to this tool?
